Maximum flexibility thanks to reliable partners
With the DMG DentaMile principle, you have the freedom to use dental 3D printing the way that suits you best. Our LuxaPrint resins are not only optimised for our DentaMile hardware – they also work perfectly with the 3D printing systems of other selected suppliers.
We have carefully selected our cooperation partners so that you can rely on first-class quality: from 3D printers to post-curing and cleaning devices. This gives dentists and dental laboratories maximum flexibility and allows them to make the most of the advantages that the validated DMG DentaMile workflows have to offer.
Why validation in 3D printing?
Thanks to validation, we can ensure that our printers, materials and software consistently deliver high-quality results. In addition, you can rest assured that the quality of the final products will always meet your requirements when it comes to the systems from other suppliers that we have validated for use in our portfolio.
This validation is tremendously important, particularly for dental applications in 3D printing, as some of the systems are medical products – and they have to meet strict requirements. Our systems and their use with third-party devices are carefully tested and validated in our in-house Digital Application Center (DAC), which enables us to guarantee the following material properties, to name but a few examples:
- Dimensional stability: for a precise fit
- Biocompatibility: for your patients’ safety
- Elasticity and fracture behaviour: for the products’ durability and functionality
- Shade: for aesthetically appealing results
Important note
When 3D printing ends, cleaning begins: The medical products that you print with our LuxaPrint materials must be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. The cleaning cycles should last a maximum of 5 minutes – no longer.
You can use our DentaMile 3Dewash or DentaMile Wash MC for cleaning, as well as validated devices from other manufacturers: RapidShape RS Wash or Straumann P Wash. An ultrasonic bath with isopropyl alcohol is also suitable.
You can purchase isopropyl alcohol as a suitable cleaning agent from us. LuxaPrint Clean IPA has the article number REF 170291.
